Shipping a firearm can be an intimidating process if you are not familiar with federal laws and regulations. Below are some basic guidelines for shipping your firearm.

*If you are a non-FFL holder you can ship all long guns and non-serialized parts via USPS or other carriers such as FedEx and UPS.

* Handguns can NOT be shipped using USPS. They must be shipped through a contract carrier such as FedEx or UPS.

*Ensure that your firearm is unloaded and declare to the carrier that you are shipping a firearm to an FFL holder for customization work.

*Include an itemized list of all parts that are being shipped along with the completed order form.

*We highly recommend that you pay for insurance when shipping your firearm.

*Please provide a return label inside of the package with insurance if you would like. Orders that were shipped without a return label will be charged an additional shipping fee to the card that was used for the original purchase.

*When ready to ship, package all items securely in a box, add the order form, and ship to:

  Subsurface Coatings

  360 Kingsbury Ln

  Blythewood, SC 29016

*Once your project is complete you will be notified, and payment can be handled over the phone with a credit card.

*Any items that have not been paid for within 60 days from notification of completion will become the property of Subsurface Coatings LLC.

*There are many variables that can affect the turnaround time of your order, such as large projects, non-common colors, and complex projects. We want to ensure that we take the amount of time needed to make your project what you expect. The general timeframe is 3-4 weeks. Feel free to contact us for an up-to-date timeline before shipping your order.
